Week 3: I don't watch soccer... If I wanted to watch somebody struggle to score for 90 minutes I'd take my friends out to the bar

This week was pretty chill with school and no one traveled because we went to see the Mainz Leverkusen match on Sunday. I can’t say I am a huge fan of soccer but you can’t really beat the atmosphere of the stadium and the game was really fun. The fans are absolutely wild, they are so energized the whole time, they make the A&M student body look like a joke. This was my first soccer game I have been to and I really enjoyed it, it also helped that the Mainz goalie was absolutely adorable lol. We rooted for Mainz. (Not even kidding guys he was like a Greek god) Since we didn’t go anywhere me IBK and Lexie went to hike the 7 hills on Saturday, Drachonfels, in particular. After getting off at the wrong stop and having to wait a while to grab a bus going back in the right direction we finally made it to the trails.  The view from the top of the hill is spectacular, you can see the Rhine and all of the other 7 hills and a birds eye view of Bonn.
I also took a train to go see my favorite band Milky Chance perform in Dortmund, it was a 2 hour train ride but totally worth it. On the way back I had my first experience riding the train “black” I got on and the ticket guy was on the same car checking for tickets, thankfully I only had to stay on for 2 stops and almost everyone didn’t buy tickets because they were all coming from the concert so he had his hands full, I made it off right before he got to me. Perfect timing! Don’t know that I will risk that again though.
And now it’s time to pack for Vienna!
