April 16 – 20
School-wise, this week wasn’t
too crazy. We had a lot of physiology classes; I think one everyday this week.
We took our physiology lab final on Tuesday, and then finished up pharmacology
with our final quiz on Thursday. Professor Wasser taught the last history of
medicine lecture about saunas on Friday—this was quite sad actually. Randomly
throughout the week, whenever we were free or in-between classes, we spent
quite a bit of time relaxing at the biergarten or Hofgarten. My daily workouts
are fairly ordinary, but Tuesday was special: Nicky joined me! (this just marks
the beginning—when we get back to CS you’re gonna be my workout partner lol) We
then tried this burrito place for the first time right around the corner from
AIB and it was pretty delicious… why was this the first time trying it?? After
our final lab exam, which seriously went terribly (I had to guess on just about
every single one--B was the preferred answer haha), I went with Nicky to sacs
fifth avenue where her host sister, Ingrid, works and we found Nicky some cute
new shoes. On Thursday, I met Nicky and Harrison at Flynn’s bar and we had a
pretty great night. Friday came pretty quick and Nicky, Artavia, Kate, Austin,
and I made our way to Berlin!
