enmodes enmodes ENMODES

As the title implies, this week was ALL about enmodes. We had a regular class day on Monday, but Tuesday and Wednesday were enmodes until we died. On Tuesday we finished up our 10 slide powerpoint and presented it to our professors, they then critiqued it to the last detail: telling us what font each slide should be; where the pictures should be placed. Mostly though, they critiqued the content to make sure we really understood everything that we included in the slides. They made sure that if enmodes were to ask us anything we would be able to answer it comfortably. On the first run, our presentation took almost two (2) hours. It was absolutely miserable yet very necessary. We kept working on it throughout the entire day until around 11:30pm when we finally went home. Wednesday it was more of the same. This time our first run lasted only 90 minutes with less suggestions about the structure of the slides and a lot more about the content. The second run that day lasted 35 minutes, which was a great improvement. And the last run was only 20 minutes. We started out the day at 10:30am and ended at 2:30. Never in my life had I worked on the same thing for such a long and consecutive amount of time, but seeing how our presentation and our presenting skills grew was truly amazing.
Thursday, the day we had been working towards for 4 months finally came. Everyone was dressed up, we too a bus to Aachen, and gave the best presentation we could have. At the end I really felt extremely proud on how far we had come and how all our efforts paid off. We drank some champagne, then went home.

For Easter, I did not have much planned because I had tickets for a concert on Saturday night, so I was not able to travel, but the concert was awesome. The other days I just enjoyed being home alone and slept the majority of the day.
