The week I learned to never take warm weather for granted

This week was pretty slow. I had applied to change my major to BIMS and consequently q-dropped two of my classes since they were no long required for my degree plan. Madeline and I spent a lot of our free time walking around Bonn, hanging out with our host sister or watching Netflix. This was one of my final weeks in Bonn and the emotions were starting to build up. This had been such an incredible experience and the thought of it ending was depressing.

On the bright side however, Madeline, Emily, and I planned a trip to Majorca, Spain. We arrived late on Friday and took a cab to our hotel in a national park. The hotel was run by a small staff who made the hotel fee very home-y. On Saturday we woke up to find a beautiful sparkling beach with clear blue water. We spent most of the weekend lounging in the sand or jumping off the cliff nearby. We noticed that many of the women exercised their right to be topless. In the states it is illegal for a woman to be without a swimsuit top on the beach. We were a little off put at first but by the end of the trip, we decided to liberate ourselves also. We were sad to leave our little paradise but we had to catch an early flight to make it home in time for class.
