This week we went to a German
soccer game where Frankfurt played against Leverkusen in Leverkusen. It was an
intense match, and we were all split up on the teams we would cheer for. At
first we confused the two teams since
they were in the same colors. The day was bitter cold too, so we were
all huddled close and moving round to generate heat, and of course cheer with
the local crowd. The game was near Bayern and Leverkusen was also sponsored by
Bayern.
This is important because we ended
up going to Bayern a few days later. Bayern also is a German medicine company
that is world renown. They also had controversial influences and medical
advances during the nazi rein that was covered up in recent times. Anyway, the
final score was 3-0 with Leverkusen crushing Frankfurt. Luckily I was going for
Leverkusen the whole time, and bought their scarf before the game began.
