We went to UniKlinik and shadowed a surgery which was pretty cool. it was nice to experience the german healthcare system and see the facilities that are available. the german hospitals are on par with american hospitals. The doctors and surgeons also seemed very top notch. I saw pediatric surgery and a tumor removal surgery. Besides that it was studying and just enjoying being in Bonn because we had a month left in our time here, On saturday we volunteered at a refugee supply center in Bonn for AIB Charity day/ the Big Event. That was cool to do something abroad at an event relating to A&M. It was also nice to help those in need after they have lost everything even if it is just us folding clothes and arranging them. I spent my time studying for a test on Sunday and that was the jist of my week here.
