Week 13 London

I really had no desire to go to London because I heard it was so expensive but Austin said he wanted to go so of course I would tag along. It was really sad because the main thing wanted to do was go to Harry Potter studios and it was all booked so we couldn't. Instead of that we did lots of other fun things. We saw Big Ben, Westminster Abby, buckingham palace, the London bridge, and the Tower of London. Our first night we were there we got to see Wicked which was my absolute favorite thing we did there. I had never seen a musical before so I wasn't too sure what to expect. I was so amazed and intrigued the whole time. The songs were great and the singers were even better! It was also very funny. After seeing Wicked it made me want to watch lots more musicals. I wish I had booked one for every night I was in London.
Apparently London is know for their rainy weather and it didn't rain once until we got back on the plane to go home. I was also expecting it to be warm but it was actually very cold. To me walking a long time in the cold is way better than walking tons in the heat so I was content. We were able to go to many shops. We went to Camden Town which was a super cute market with tons of people. It was also placed along an river canal feeling that made me miss home and the river walk. We also went to Hamleys an awesome toy store that was about 8 stories high full of toys. Michelle really wanted to go to Top Shop and I'm so glad we did because I bought some really nice makeup!
We got a little taste of America in London. They had all sorts of American food. The first day we had buffalo chicken strips and fries that were so amazing and made me even more excited to get home. Before we came we were told that the Asian food in London was great so we had to try it and I would say that it was pretty good. Of course I had to try fish and chips in London and that was an experience! I wish we had more time in London but I guess that means I'll just have to go back!
