Week 11 - Relaxing weekend in Bonn

This week has been a little hectic to say the least. With our second wave of tests out of the way, It's safe to say that we deserve a bit of a nice, relaxing weekend in town. Even though its kind of going to be filled with a little bit more studying as well, at least we wont have any hard deadlines to meet at the end of the week!!

This week was Ethan's birthday. To celebrate we went over to his host parents house where his host sister was having a massive party. I really enjoyed it because a lot of the times, BMEN students and BIMS students dont really get much of a chance to hang out due to the effects of both our busy schedules. This was really nice that night because I got to know more about people like Clare Elizondo who are just great to be around.

The party was great and all until one of Ethan's host sister's friends got hit by a piece of scaffold that fell down outside which knocked her out and made her head bleed. Then, the ambulance was called and they came over and took the girl to the hospital. At this time, we were all a little freaked out so we decided to leave the house party and end the night at N8. I always forget how freaking awesome that club is but its okay because every time I go, i get reminded again. The music there is so fun and modern and they play stuff for everyone to dance to. Angelica and I forgot that it was daylight savings time and that at 2am, the clock jumped forward an hour. This is why when we checked our phone and saw that it was already 4:30, we ran to the hbf to catch our ride home. Overall it was a good weekend and I can't wait for more!
