Week 7

Week 7: February 22-28

We had a lot of classes this week to make up for the lost sessions when we were in Vienna. We had to catch up on our German language class. Classes weren’t too rough this week and we worked on our projects some more.

We went to Uniklinik Bonn in two groups on different days to watch surgeries. The surgery that I watched dealt with a person who had spinal problems. It was super interesting to watch, but I didn’t get to finish it because it was a 6 hour surgery. I didn’t really like to smell of the drill when it went into the bones though. It reminded me of being in the dentist’s office and it was a very unpleasant scent.
