Week
3: January 25-31
This week we had an excursion to
Cologne. We had a walking tour of the Cologne and we got the historical houses
along the Rhine. The houses were colorful and the street names told you what
used to be sold on the streets in the past. We also got to see ancient Roman
structures that managed to survive through the years.
After the tour, we had a tour of the
cathedral and it was amazing. It was wonderful to see the different aspects of
the cathedral. However, the spiral staircase was my least favorite part because
it was completely enclosed and seemed to be never-ending. I was glad when it
finally ended. We did get a have a 360ᵒ view of Cologne at sunset. The view
made all of the effort worth seeing it.
