Paris Excursion

This week was our Paris excursion!  On Monday we woke up early and got on a bus to Colmar, France. The bus ride took five ever, but we found an awesome way to pass the time by playing some kind of drawing-telephone game on a tablet.  The game was super fun, thanks to some ridiculously creative captions and drawings. When we finally arrived in Colmar, we checked out a cool museum and got a little mini tour of the town.  The buildings had some really neat architecture and the entire town was very picturesque. After walking around, we got back on the bus and headed for Beaune, France.  We arrived in the evening and first went to check our bags into the hotel.  After checking in, we all went out to eat as big group and had lots of the region’s delicious burgundy wine.  The next day we took a tour of the Hotel-Dieu.  This hospital museum was pretty neat and interesting. The entire complex felt very cozy and comfortable.  After our tour, we grabbed some lunch and then took off for Paris.  While in Paris we did several things: I registered for my classes for the next semester, ate delicious crepes, went to some bars, took a bike tour, visited the Louvre, and saw the palace of Versailles.  This Paris excursion was a blast!  Easily my most favorite excursion on this trip.
