KNOCK KNOCK YOU ABOUT TO GET SHELL SHOCKED

Pre-finals week

This was one of the most hectic weeks of the semester. We had our second 211 exam, for which I spent quite a bit of time studying. We also had our final presentation for Enmodes, which we spent all week perfecting. On top of that, we had to prepare for our three finals the following week.

The second 211 exam went very well, and afterwards, the rest of the week was devoted to preparing our presentations for Enmodes. Many hours were put into creating our PowerPoint, solid works pictures, and rehearsing our presentation. The night before our presentation, our whole program stayed late at AIB getting the master PowerPoint ready and doing a final run through.

The next morning, dressed in business casual, we arrived in Aachen ready to shell shock Enmodes. My team was the last group to present, and I wasn’t feeling nervous until it was our turn to walk up to the front. I was one of the first people in my group to speak, so I wanted to give Enmodes a good first impression of our team. I always get a little nervous right before making a speech, but once I start speaking I actually feel somewhat comfortable. Our team presented very well, and I was proud of all of our work on an integrated PCMO debubbler. After the presentations, we enjoyed a lunch with Enmodes and a quick trip to the city center of Aachen before departing back to Bonn.

After this busy week, I had another even busier week ahead of me…finals week. Thus, I spent this weekend studying for my third physiology exam as well as for some of my finals. I practically lived at AIB and Starbucks. I've spent a lot of time at Starbucks this semester, so much so that many of the baristas have started to recognize me…

Anyways, after studying for what seemed like an eternity, it was time for my last week in Bonn L
