For our last full week in Europe before the program officially ends, we had the fun task of taking a ton of finals. YAY FINALS, said no one ever. Four days, three tests, two projects, and one very sleep deprived Kendal: Let's do this.
We stayed in Bonn for the weekend to study for all of our tests since the week before we were just as jam packed with other tests and the enmodes project. Talking a little bit about that, it went really well, but preparing for it was insane. We stayed at AIB the night before until 10:30pm or so because Dr. Wasser wanted to go through the slides and there were some formatting problems. I think we all thought we would have a lot more time to study for the upcoming week of tests, but at least they were nice about keeping us for so long and got pizza. It was really cool to actually be apart of a biotech company's design process and be so involved. It was a great experience and the fact that it had to do with pulmonary applications is even more close to my heart now because of personal obstacles my family is facing. Definitely one of the better parts of the study abroad program.
That Monday we had our 3rd physiology exam on GI which went really well. Next up, the physiology final two days later. The final was a lot more difficult than we were lead to expect so I'm glad I studied for it as much as I did because you definitely needed to put significant study hours in to refresh on the huge amount of information we learned this semester.
After the physiology test we had our signals final the next day. Upon receiving the practice test to study, its safe to say that everyone panicked....well a lot. Haley was nice and stayed late to help teach us the material, but the final was still pretty horrible for a lot of people. Some people took like four hours it was that bad.
It was nice to be able to breathe a little bit more after all of our tests were over. We still have some projects to finish up and ends and odds of school to take care of, but for now, we breathe.
