Finals

This was our last full week in Germany. It was also packed full of tests. The weekend leading up to it was one of the rare weekends I wasn't traveling, and with good reason. On Monday we had our third physiology test over G.I. as well as our 253 final. The physiology went fairly well, but no one was really sure what to expect for 253. It ended up going well, though. Tuesday was spent hardcore studying for both the phys final on Wednesday and the 211 final on Thursday. It was a really late night, fueled by fear and coffee. The physiology final went okay, and the rest of Wednesday was devoted to a 211 practice test. This was easily the most dreaded of the finals, and when it finally came time to do it, it took me four hours. By the end I was mentally exhausted and ready for a nap and a beer. Since we still had the DHFs to do, I had to settle for just one of those things (it wasn't the nap). We celebrated the end of finals at everyone's favorite neighborhood club, the Untergrund. The next morning we took an excursion to Remagen, where we toured the Peace Museum where the famous bridge used to be and got lunch at an Italian restaurant. Our guide was the cutest little old man who also happened to be the mayor of the town. It was a nice way to relax after the hectic couple of weeks we'd had, and I got ready for my last weekend trip of the semester: Prague.
