The moment up to my trip to France was pretty jam-packed and high pressure. I got back home from Berlin at 11 pm on a Sunday night. I had to take a online test and had to wake up at 5:30 to catch a train to Bonn central station. I ended up waking up at like 6 am and rushing to the train station sprinting in order to catch the train. I almost missed the train but the worst part was walking in the rain from the train station to the charter bus relatively soaked. After i got on the bus things were very smooth sailing which was nice. We visited colmar which is a town in Alsace that has been a French and German province since a long time. I thought there would be a decent amount of Franco-german speakers. However, everyone spoke French in Colmar. We visited the Isnheim Altar in Colmar which was quite cool. Then we went to Beaune which is in Burgandy france. Beaune is a nice town and we visited a hospital there which was pretty cool. It was a hospital that treated plague patients and ceased to exist in the 1970s. It was cool to see a structure that was functioning for such a long time and is a nice piece of medical history. After Beaune we jetted off to Paris the political economic and social capital of France and the world at one point. the first day in paris we ate some crepes. The crepes were good i had some mushroom and cheese crepes. In paris the next day we took a bike tour which was pretty cool and then we had a chance to tour around the city. At night we visited the Eiffel tower which was nice. The next day we went to the louvre which was nice, where I saw the famous Mona Lisa. The next day we had a picnic in Versailles which was quite nice. It was a nice way to end the trip. And after our excursion i crossed the English channel to go to England. This was the start of my spring break.
