On our third day in Vienna, we had another relatively early morning to catch a train to take us to Wiener Neustadt. Our first lecture about the radiology school was interesting, but not too pertinent to me personally. I did enjoy the mini tour they gave us of the facility and the labs. Dr. Schreiner's lecture on ion radiation research was pretty awesome. I haven't taken a physics class in quite a while, and although I definitely don't miss it, it was nice to have a little taste of physics again.
After the train ride back, I went with a group to The Albertina (featuring an Impressionist collection), which was another attraction right up there with the orchestra concert on my favorites list. There were four flours completely filled with art from Degas to Picasso and seemingly everything in between. One that especially caught my eye was Venice, the Pink Cloud by Paul Signac. The group stayed at the museum until it closed and then we made our way to dinner. It was a ton of fun to have a classic German meal with the whole group together. We also got to test the theory that one is never too full for dessert... which is true, unless any sort of quick movement is required within the next hour.

Although we flew home on Saturday, we still had a busy day scheduled. Having the Freud lecture in the Freud house was epic! I really like learning about the psychoanalysis, and it's not somet

Overall, my impression of Vienna is that it is an especially beautiful city (impressive, considering that it stands out amidst other European cities, which all seem to be--as a rule--packed full of gothic architecture and statues). It also seems incredibly artistically inclined, and the coffeehouses are unbeatable. I am so glad that we went as a group and had the opportunity to spend more than a quick weekend exploring the city.
