Week 9: Viva la Vida

Well looks like our trip has come to a tragic early end. At least we got to go out with a bang this week. Barcelona was everything I had hoped for and more. Our pickup at the airport was a bit of a mess but our AirBnB turned out to be in opportune location for the city. We spent a lot of the week at the beach of course soaking up the rays and enjoying the seaside tourism. On Tuesday we celebrated Zaheer's birthday at our AirBnB which was a blast. Langley even managed to scrounge together a cake with some of the exotic food we bought at the local super market. We got to see a whole overview of the city from Guell Park and try some amazing foods at the country's largest outdoor food market. I got to enjoy even more seafood cuisine and beach-side pictures in Barcelona but sadly we got an early call Thursday morning to learn that our time abroad was over. I had to cancel the rest of my trips and wait out my last two days in Germany at AIB. Fortunately though we made it through customs just fine and got home safe and on time!
