Barcelona is beautiful :) And warm! Spring Break is already shaping up to be an amazing week. Yesterday, a bunch of us got into Barcelona. Thanks to the past few weeks in Europe, we were able to easily figure out how to navigate the metro system here. Getting from place to place has been so easy. Although I've never been to Barcelona (or anywhere in Spain), it feels like just another European city when it comes to getting around. We rented an apartment for the week on one of the busiest streets through the center of the city. We're within close walking distance to restaurants, bars, clubs and a main line of the metro is right outside our front door. This morning, I woke up to a parade going on out in the street. On top of all the bustle of people in the street, there are the most strange things on sale in the road. I passed two different stands selling birds in bird cages on the street. It's only been one day but I've already completely fallen in love with this city. Stay tuned - there's more to come. VIVA ESPANYA! (In Barcelona they speak Catalan. I am not incorrectly spelling Espanya over and over and over)
