Maß-es in Munich
Last weekend Kyle and I took a carpooling service to Munich. It was awesome to go on the autobahn; the driver was driving at speeds upwards of 130 mph! The first night in Munich was pretty chill. We were staying at my friend's (Feline) apartment and she cooked us dinner. She is really into salsa dancing so she took us to a couple latin-themed bars. The next day was awesome. We went to the Neuschwanstein castle and hiked around that area. At one point we crossed a river and the water from it tasted delicious. I brought back a bottle of it to drink sparingly. We then went to her hometown and she showed us her horses. After that we went to a brewery called Andechs which is also a monastery and the monks brew the beer! I thought that was really cool, and the beer was really good. After that we drove back to Munich and met up with Feline's roomates to go to dinner at another brewery. Then we bar-hopped that night. On Sunday we went on a bike ride around the city. What a gorgeous day it was!! We stopped and went into a couple churches, went to a famous cemetery and then went to the English Garten to eat some lunch. For such a short stay, we got to experience a lot!
