Five straight days of no classes and I spent the majority of them studying. This is the life of a biomedical engineer. On the plus side there was a good deal more sleep involved than in previous weeks. Friday there was a bit of action as we were able to go on a bike tour 25 kilometers down the Rhine to Remagen. It was drizzling most of the time and it was a bit chilly out, but it really was a nice ride. There were a few hiccups along the way with bike problems, but overall things went pretty well and lunch was amazing so there were no complaints there. Also, we found a playground on the way so my inner child got its fair share of fun too. In Remagen we were given an awesome tour of the peace museum by the former mayor of the city himself Mr. Hans Kürten, who gave us all the details of WWII that related to the Bridge of Remagen and even shared a personal story from the Era. It was actually a great experience and one that surpassed all my expectations.
