This weekend most of the group went to go see Cologne play Stuttgart in Cologne. It was my first time to see a soccer game in Europe. It was surprising to me how much like an American football game it was. There were cheers/yells and everyone stayed super pumped throughout the game. There was lots of beer and wurst everywhere. I thought that Cologne's mascot (a goat) was adorable :) The whole experience was very fun. While I still love American football best, it was a great experience. I see myself going to many more sporting events when I get back to Texas A&M.
