Short trip

This week we made our first short weekend trip to visit München. Home of my favorite Fußball team Bayern München, great beer, and bretzles. Although unfortunately they were not playing at home while we were visiting, getting to see the city again with friends was super fun. On top of that on our last day we decided to head out to Schwangau to see the beautiful Neuschwanstein castle as well as its sister castle Hohenschwangau on the edge of the Bavarian Alps. So as well as fulfilling the need to visit my favorite mountain range, I was able to live out my dream of becoming a Disney princess... but really Neuschwanstein is truly magical and the view from a nearby watch point is magnificent. During my adventures I also gathered that overnight trains are hard to sleep on, something to learn from when booking my future trips. During the week we had normal classes most the time with a short trip to a very unique anesthesiology museum, which was very interesting to look through. We finished the week with a tour of the history museum of post WW2 Germany which gave insight into why Germany is the way it is today, and was very interesting as well. This upcoming week is already turning out to be busy and exiting as we are in Wien (Vienna) for our class excursion, and then following that we are heading to Prague on the weekend. Ill update next week on how those go, see you then.
