Semana Seis

So this past weekend was carnival...that is basically all that needs to be said but i shall explain more. I stayed in Bonn thursday and went to Cologne Saturday and Monday. I must say carnival in Cologne vs carnival in Bonn is a different beast *roar*.

Being apart of the parade in Bonn was definitely a good time. I enjoyed seeing the smiles on children’s faces when i threw candy at them. No one cared if a snickers bar was hurling straight at their forehead. It was smiles and laughs and drinks all day

Cologne was different than Bonn because there were parties in the streets everywhere you went. Most people were super friendly and fun. With the exception of a few people who were just looking for confrontation.

I must say that learning German is easiest from the locals. Carnival was a whole other world. Truly an unforgettable experience unlike anything including marci gra. The only downside was waking up the next morning for 8:45am German 😅.

This coming weekend I go to Switzerland so that’s going to be a blast!
