So I signed up for the Bonn marathon, not on the half-marathon team, but for the relay, and I ended up drawing the 7 mile leg. I did this because I didn't start training seriously until mid-February and new I would regret it if I forced myself to run 13 (see half the people in my program) and it would offer a good measuring point for me from freshman year. The first half of our brass week culmination event was also a 7 mile run, so it was extremely motivational to run that distance again. And I don't know if I just suck at pacing or I'm really out of shape, but I have some work to do before I go back!
