During Paris :)

Wow, Paris blew me away this time around..... We did so much of relaxed sight seeing and walking and came across so many small yet wonderful things. It was marvelous! Jessica had the luck of saying 'lets go here or lets take this path', and we would find either a great restaurant, or nice piece of art work, or simple a beautiful street..  I wish it would had been slightly warmer, but hey! I been in Germany for how long now? I can handle France's weather ;)  well sort of :p The first night in Paris, we reunited with a friend and got some beers! We haven't been much of a beer drinkers but for some reason we enjoyed the beer this time around!! Perhaps, I can do my Ring Dunk after all! :D

On the second day, we visited the breath taking basilica, Sacre-Coeur (Sacred Heart of Paris). For some reason, when I got there, I compared it to the Köln cathedral. At the basilica, the architecture and the color makes you feel at peace, pure, and enlighten, but with the cathedral at Köln, it is intimidating, yet you feel drawn to its majestic view. Obviously the cathedral is based on Gothic architecture, but still, is amazing what these two churches make me feel.
We visited the Louvre, and obviously saw the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and many more wonderful sculptures. I think we had a little too much fun at the Louver.

The rest of the night, we walked down Champs-Élysées towards the Arc of Triomphe and then Eiffel Tower. :) On the way towards the Arc, we ran into a dance show :o

We then ended the night at some club that happened to be Cuban night! SALSA!!! French people really know how to dance salsa :/ and we are hispanics! They put us to shame :p
On Saturday, we ran into some trouble! We actually had rented a flat with AIRBNB and had the flat all to ourselves. However, on Saturday afternoon, we accidentally left the keys in the coffee table on our way out. The thing is.. the owner of the flat was 5 hours away from Paris >.< A locksmith came, but couldn't help us, and we still had to pay, and it seemed that for that night we had no where to stay :/ All of our clothes and money, plus passports were in there. We were so bummed out so our day was not too productive.... Luckily, the owner was a real sweetheart, he somehow sent his keys to the train conductor (he didnt even know him) to end up with us. He really did help! Not just anyone would do that for a couple of strangers who were irresponsible. I thank you Benjamin! On our last day, Easter, Jess and I attended mass at Notre Dame. It was gorgeous, even though I did not speak the language, I understood. It is amazing to see how the catholic masses in each country are the same :)
We came across the lock pad bridge in Paris, and the Shakespeare and Company book store, visited the Musee Rodin and lastly went up the Eiffel Tour at night :) it was seriously an adventure. It seems like we literally went from point A to point B, but that wasn't the case. We walked alot and saw many small things, and we stop and just enjoy the view. :)
we were trying to act ghetto, we actually play "niggas in Paris" at the Eiffel Tour. Obviously, we got many looks, but we didn't care :)

Oh yeah! we ran into some Germans who live in Boyle! They were super ecstatic to meet us :p

Overall, a beautiful, memorable, and wonderful experience I got to share with my bestieee :] <3 Love you!
