I
chose to participate in this program because I am able to visit and explore a
new country while also staying on track with my degree plan. I have always
wanted to visit Germany due to my interest in its rich history and culture. More
than anything, I hope to gain knowledge of the German culture and learn
different cultural perspectives. Also, I am really looking forward to learning the
language and meeting my host family. I expect to be a bit overwhelmed the first week or so, but I am so ready to begin this incredible opportunity.
