This week couldn't have started out on a more fun note...Rose Montag! A group of friends and I woke up early so we could meet at the Bonn Hauptbahnhof at 6:30 and go to Köln for the Rose Montag parade. We were there way earlier than we needed to be but it was still such an incredible experience. While it started off freezing and raining, by the time the parade started and people came the weather wasn't all that bad! I have included a couple pictures and videos from the trip but it was hard to capture the magnitude of the event.

These are some of the friends I went with. Kait (far left) was dressed as a flamingo, I was dressed as a sailor woman (?), and Olivia (far right) was dressed as the queen of hearts.

This is a video of some of the parade. The parade was much longer than I expected. We left before it was even finished which means it was at least 3 hours long.
