Today was an interesting and fun day despite the rain. I woke up late and then Kathryn and I decided to go for a walk to the Rhine so that we wouldn't get lost if we decided to run that route in the future. This walk turned into a three hour excursion where we walked about 8 miles. We made it to the Rhine and then decided to walk north towards the center of town. Needless to say we were very sore after this, but it was a great way to explore the city! We also found a cute Japanese garden in the park by the river. I definitely want to make going for a long walk around the city a weekly ritual!
Oh! I also learned how to boil an egg :)
