Week 2

This past week has been great! The weather became much warmer (40's to 50's) and we went to Amsterdam this past weekend. Amsterdam was like a hybrid between Austin and New Orleans. A lot of fun but extremely weird. Classes are going great except for the homework part. The initial culture shock is fading and I feel like we are all finding our niche in the German culture. We're starting to pick up on some words here and there and even putting some sentences together. We also got to go to a classical concert last week. A few of us joined a bible study and we met for the first time last week. It was so amazing to be able to study God's word with people from all over the world (Mexico, Kenya, Tanzania, United States, Germany, etc.) The snow has melted away and we're finally able to see Bonn without a white blanket over it. Germany is going great and I'll be posting again next week! Tchuss!
