J'aime Bruxelles!!

This past weekend, a group a friends and I received the opportunity to visit Bruxelles, the capital of Belgium. It was quite beautiful but different from Bonn. To begin with there is barely any recycling. You would only see recucling in the underground subway, but other than that none. I love that about Germany, it is such an eco-friendly country. Second, Belgium does not have its own language, in fact, the main three languages spoken is French, Ducth, Flemish, and perhaps a little of German. But the main language is French, not to bad considering I know spanish fluently so it wasn't hard to get around especially with our trustworthy friend, Paula, who got us around everywhere! Third, there is Belgium Waffles everywhere!!! So delightful! Some baked with chocolate, some with melted chocolate, some just a regular belgium waffle, and others with fruits... they were to die for!!  Overall the experience was wonderful, my friends made it wonderful. Here are a few pictures to wrap up our experience at Bruxelles :)
