This week we had our first presentation to Enmodes and we had a little presentation to the TA's and Dr. Wasser and Ana on Monday to make sure we would give a good presentation. We didn't realize that we had to give a presentation so we threw together a powerpoint in 20 minutes and winged the whole thing. It actually went really well and we didn't have many problems. They gave us a few tips and thoughts on what they wanted us to differently, but other then that we did pretty good.
On Tuesday we had the actual presentation, but even then it was more of just a way for them to give us pointers on the things that we have been researching so they could refine our project even further. Our group went first and we did pretty well. They didn't have too many questions for my slide since most of it was done and there wasn't a whole lot I could change. They did suggest that I get rid of the colored bars for each parameter since it might have a psychological effect on the patient... After the other groups presented, we went over to the Enmodes facility and got a tour of their place. Its mostly just the "clean room" in the middle where they do all of the manufacturing. Once we got back, Reagan got us all pizza from this one place down the road and all of us chowed down. I had at least 12 slices while Marcus had at least that many if not more. We then studied for the math test for a bit longer and then we finally started at 7:45... It wasn't too bad but I know there wasn't enough that I knew on it to make a good grade.
On Thursday we had the same thing only for 211... We studied so hard for that test but even after all of that studying I still did terrible. I tried to understand what was going on but I just didn't know enough to get a good grade. Later that da a few of us went back over through the cherry blossom trees to get some ice cream after that terrible test. I got a scoop of peanut butter and a scoop of chocolate, basically a Reese's peanut butter ice cream, and it was really good.
