How can I begin to
explain the craziness that are the days leading up to the final enmodes
presentation? Well, the weather would be a start. That Sunday at 8:51 am this
was the view out of my window.
This was the view 3 hours later.
April is a crazy month here in Germany...
Anyways, back to enmodes. My team , Team Donatello, had a multiple components as a solution to solve our problem. Finishing everything for that was crazy. There was solidworks to complete, research to do, and rehearsing and rehearsing our parts until they were approved by our teachers and TA's. However, I did get to relax one day by playing some volleyball in the backyard. That session of exercise was highly needed because stress levels were high!!

On the night before
the presentation, we began our final run through with the completed solidworks
and slides after midnight. We were exhausted. (You can not see me because I was
sitting/sleeping on the table behind Marcus). Once we were finally done, we
called cabs (which Dr. Wasser paid for. Thank you Dr. Wasser), and I arrived
home at 2:20 am. We drove to Aachen from
the Hoftgarten eight hours later in our business professional attire. Ready to
shock enmodes with our amazing ideas right after we had taken well deserved
naps on the bus.
When we arrived to
the hotel conference room, we did a bit of Qi Gong before our
presentation to get our blood flowing and calm our nerves. Then we proceeded to present our projects (the products of late nights, frustration, and much practice) to enmodes.
The presentations went extremely well and we celebrated with photos and drinks
afterwards before returning to Bonn.
