Intermission 1

In my last post I expressed dismay about not seeing any political floats during Karneval, but on Rosenmontag in Cologne there were quite a few political opinions being expressed. The day was chilly and rainy, and I forgot to bring my gloves so at the end of the festivities I could barely feel my fingers. Finding a place to eat was a bit difficult as many places were either closed, full, or were simply food stands. My photos of the political floats are below -- I just had to share!
