Some Soccer Shenangans
The week after spring break was pumped full of plenty of soccer related activities. First, on Wednesday, AIB hosted its annual soccer cub in which 8 teams competed to be in the top 3 spots. I was on a team of 5 that consisted of 5 people who played soccer in 8 or so years, so we thought we would lose all of our games.. With a few large strokes of luck, however, we ended up getting first place; cool beans. On that Saturday, we got to attend the FC Cologne Fussball game which was also super cool beans. The score ended up being 0-0 which was kinda lame, but being in a European soccer game atmosphere was definitely a great experience to have. A few of us bought scarves which will be a nifty souvenir to have back in the states because no one else has them, and that makes us hipsters, thus not hipsters, because being hipster is in oxymoron.
